1st VOCATIONAL INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM: DIPONEGORO UNIVERSITY SUMMER SCHOOL (VIP 2017)

For the first time, Vocational School of UNDIP proudly presents a summer program for students from different educational background titled VIP 2017. Whether you are a current student or a recent graduate from local and international, taking a summer school will expand your knowledge about Indonesia. The theme for VIP 2017 is HARMONY OF INDONESIAN NATURAL RESOURCES & CULTURAL HERITAGE.

If Indonesian nature and culture appeal you then taking a summer school at VIP will let you learn the first hand of the potential natural resources and cultural heritage both in lowland and highland ofJawa Tengah. Taking the boat to the tributary river of mangrove forest and visiting the revitalisation of Rainbow Painted Village in Semarang will give you insight of living in the lowlands. And the high altitude of Dieng Plateau offers the beautiful sunrise, attractive views with limitless possible of adventure in the sculpted topography, such as: geothermal village, waterfall and lake.

Registration

This summer program is FREE OF CHARGE for accommodation, meals, local transportation in Semarang and Dieng, tickets to several places and workshop kit. Other personal needs, transportation to and fro Semarang are excluded. For registration please fill the Google forms below before 20th August 2017 and we will choose only 30 students to join this summer program.

Summer Program

This program will be a joint program with UNDIP Vocational School “International Conference of Vocational Studies on Applied Research (ICoVAR)” that will be held on 13th September 2017. Summer program participants will get free pass for the keynote speakers’ speech on the first day of ICoVAR. Our preliminary summer program as follows*:

Day 1: Opening and attending lecture from keynote speakers of ICoVAR. Welcome party in the evening.

Day 2:Experiencing first hand the cultivation in the mangrove forest and exploring the colourful thematic village in Semarang.

Day 3: Semarang City tour and preparing for departure to Dieng Plateau.

Day 4:Exploring geothermal village and several other sites. Enjoying the night attraction of Dieng Temple in the evening.

Day 5:Final presentation and closing ceremony in tea plantation.
