The Vocational School of Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang added two teaching industry facilities. This additional facility is in response to the needs of higher education providers in the industrial era 4.0.

The Dean of the Undip Vocational School Semarang, Budiyono said the two facilities were “E-Learning Studio” and “Vocational Tax Corner” (VTC). He explained that the “E-Learning Studio” was established by the Undip Vocational School to develop various methods and learning substances based on the industrial revolution 4.0.

According to him, students will get mixed learning, case studies, project-based learning and problem-based learning. “Lecturers can collaborate with students, so that students are able to improve their competence in technology and multimedia considering that vocational education is based on 70 percent of practice and 30 percent of theory,”

In addition to the “E-Learning Studio”, the Undip Vocational School has also prepared a “Vocational Tax Corner” which is under the auspices of the Directorate General of Taxes of Central Java I. The facility, he said, is not only a forum for competency development for undergraduate students of Applied Tax Accounting, but as well as a place of direct service in the field of taxation.
