Semarang, March 31, 2026 — The Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro has once again achieved an important milestone on the global stage. Three of its study programs have successfully obtained international accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Board of Engineering Education (IABEE) in 2026.
The accredited study programs are:
- Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology
- Automation Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Design Engineering
The accreditation covers key disciplines, namely Chemical, Biochemical, and Biomolecular Engineering Technology; Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering Technology; and Manufacturing Engineering Technology. This recognition confirms that the curriculum, learning processes, and graduate outcomes meet internationally recognized standards.
The Dean of the UNDIP Vocational School emphasized that this achievement reflects the institution’s strong commitment to delivering high-quality vocational education that is adaptive to technological advancements and aligned with global industry needs.
“This international accreditation is not only a recognition but also a responsibility for us to continuously improve. We are committed to ensuring that our graduates possess strong competence, integrity, and professionalism to compete at the global level,” he stated.
Furthermore, IABEE—being a member of the Washington Accord—adds significant value to graduates, as it enhances international recognition and opens broader career opportunities across global industries.
This achievement further strengthens the Vocational School’s strategic direction toward becoming a world-class vocational education institution, through continuous quality improvement, industry collaboration, and the development of relevant teaching factory models.
