The Vocational School of Diponegoro University has explored a double degree program collaboration with Management and Science University (MSU) Malaysia on Monday, December 6, 2021. This collaboration exploration event was carried out online through the zoom meeting platform and opened by Prof. Dr. Budiyono, M.Si as the Dean of the Vocational School. In addition to the dean, vice dean, head of study program, and international office (IO) from UNDIP and Vokahadir School. This event was also attended by the board of directors and deputy dean I from each faculty of Management and Science University (MSU). This collaboration was initiated by Mr. Ahmad Pitra MSU and Fitri Alfarisy UNDIP as a form of expanding cooperation between educational institutions in Asia.
The focus of discussion in this exploratory event is cooperation in the Double Degree Program, student exchange and staff exchange. Programs that are expected to be carried out immediately are staff exchanges, namely exchanges between teaching lecturers, as well as the independent campus learning program, where Vocational School students can take several courses at Management and Science University (MSU) for one semester and the Summer School program at UNDIP. and MSU. In addition, another program from Management and Science University (MSU) that can be followed by SV UNDIP students is the Global Mobility Program (GMP) for students who want to get international experience for one semester at Management and Science University (MSU). Then there is the Global Leadership Program (GLP) which combines three activities, namely academic, social, and cultural.
The two universities plan to discuss further and intensely between study programs related to this collaboration, and in the near future an MoU will be signed between UNDIP and MSU as a follow-up form of this collaboration exploration activity. UNDIP and MSU both gave a positive response from this exploratory activity and it is hoped that with this collaboration later, the quality and quality of each university will increase and make vocational schools more champions.
