On May 28, 2024, a cooperation document/Letter of Intent was signed between the Vocational School of Diponegoro University and the Faculty of Alam Bina Universiti Malaya. The Dean of the Undip Vocational School, Professor Budiyono, and the Dean of the Alam Bina Faculty, Professor Sr.Ts, carried out this signing. Dr. Azlan Shah Ali. The collaboration that will be carried out includes, among others, student mobility, staff mobility, research collaboration, and other activities. The Dean of the Undip Vocational School, Professor Budiyono, said that cooperation with reputable international universities, especially in the World’s Best 100 QS Rank, is needed to encourage more strategic performance within the scope of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities. Professor Budiyono added that this activity was an effort by the Undip Vocational School to improve its reputation by collaborating with world-class universities.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Civil and Planning Department of the Undip Vocational School, Asri Nurdiana, said that collaborative activities with the Alam Bina Faculty have been running since last year, including Visiting Professor activities, as well as several activities related to student mobility and staff mobility will also be held again this year. The activities will include the Summer Course “Sustainable Building Conservation with BIM,” held by the Vocational School and attended by 25 students from the Faculty of Alam Bina Universiti Malaya. On the other hand, Undip Vocational School students will also participate in Summer Course activities organized by the Faculty of Alam Bina UM.

Also present at this signing activity were lecturers from Universiti Malaya, Prof. Dr. Syahrul Nizam Kamaruzzaman, Prof. Dr. Faizul Azli Mohd Rahim, Prof. Dr. Saipol Bari Abd Karim, Dr. Mastura Adam, Dr. Ainoriza Mohd Aini, and Dr. Au Yong Cheong Peng. By signing this collaboration document, the collaborative activity program between the Undip Vocational School and the Bina UM Faculty will develop further.
