Semarang, 22 July 2024, Diponegoro University Vocational School succeeded in achieving a proud achievement on the national stage, namely winning the IX Indonesian Vocational Olympiad (OLIVIA) which was held at Hasanuddin University Makassar on 18-19 July 2024.
Chairman of the 2024 Olivia IX Committee Dr Agustina Abdullah IPM ASEAN Eng on this occasion, said that the event which was held for two days on 18-19 July was attended by 1,880 participants from 648 teams from 61 universities in 16 provinces. From the preliminary round, 144 teams from 32 vocational colleges throughout Indonesia managed to qualify for the final round. The finalists and their competition companions were around 550 people present.
Diponegoro University Vocational School sent 4 delegation teams to become finalists in the 2024 Indonesian Vocational Olympiad (OLIVIA) IX, namely: RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) Innovative Design, Business Plan, English Debaten, Scientific Papers in Social and Legal fields. This activity was held at Hasanuddin University, Makassar, for two days, 18-19 July 2024.
In this competition, the SV UNDIP contingent succeeded in bringing home 2 championship competition categories, namely:
1. 1st place winner in the RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) Innovative Design category, namely Tiurma Fransiska Simanullang, Jeni Laura Tesalonikam, Putri Sekar Kinanti, supervisor Mohamad Endy Yulianto, S.T., M.T.
2. 1st Runner Up in the English Debate category, namely Kezia Huminsa Ulina, Muhammad Nabil Subagja Hadiwidjaja, mentor Dhani Nur Indra Syamputra, S.Si., M.Sc.

Deputy Dean 1 for Academic and Student Affairs at the Vocational School Dr. Ida Hayu Dwimawanti, M.M. congratulate and thank all the achievements obtained by the children of the Diponegoro University Vocational School, hope that in the future they will achieve better and give encouragement to never give up to the children who have not succeeded in winning, but at least have gone through the process of getting to the grand final, Hopefully, next year we can win.

The closing ceremony, which was the last activity was enlivened by various stunning art performances from Hasanudin University students, followed by the handing over of the OLIVIA X flag from Hasanudin University to Brawijaya University which was received by Dr. Setiawan Noerdajasakti, SH., MH as Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship at Universitas Brawijaya marked the handover as host of OLIVIA (Fjr)
