Tiara Retno Dewanti, one of the outstanding graduates of the Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design (PILARS) Study Program at Diponegoro University’s Vocational School, has proven that persistence, a passion for learning, and the courage to start are key to building a future. This 2019 Building Architecture alumna has successfully developed her architectural design and consulting business through the brand she founded, “Kaki Bangun.”

Since the beginning of her studies, Tiara has been known as a diligent and highly committed student. She always pays full attention to every design assignment, architecture studio, and the creative process in architecture. For her, college is not just about getting grades, but about building a foundation of thinking and a sense of responsibility for the results of her work. “I believe that what moves us forward is not just a degree, but an attitude and a willingness to continue learning,” said Tiara.

This passion led her to pioneer Kaki Bangun, a creative architectural studio targeting young people and families who want to build or renovate their homes in a functional, aesthetic, and affordable way. With a warm and communicative approach, Tiara strives to make each project attractive in design, comfortable, and suited to the client’s needs. “I started this business not because I felt I was already an expert, but because I wanted to continue learning from direct experience and providing benefits through my work,” she added. Tiara’s success proves that vocational graduates are not only ready for work but also able to create jobs and become agents of change.
