UNDIP Vocational School Introduces “Halo Dekan” Service at PKKMB 2025

Semarang, August 19, 2025 – The Vocational School of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) held the 2025 Campus Life Orientation Program for New Students (PKKMB) on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the 2nd Floor of Muladi Dome Building. Beyond serving as an introduction to academic systems, administration, facilities, and campus culture, the event also featured the launch of a new student service platform called Halo Dekan.

The new complaint-handling service, Halo Dekan (Hello Dean), is designed specifically for students. It covers two main categories—academic and non-academic matters—allowing students to submit issues or aspirations more easily and in a structured way.

“I know the beginning of your college journey is not always easy. Whether it’s academic, financial, or personal challenges, don’t keep them to yourself. You are part of the Vocational School family that we care deeply about. That’s why we are providing the Halo Dekan platform, accessible at halodekan.vokasi.undip.ac.id,” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si., Dean of the Vocational School UNDIP.

In addition to launching Halo Dekan, PKKMB 2025 included a series of activities such as presentations on campus facilities and environment, introduction to campus culture, ethics, and norms, faculty introduction, student organization showcases, and academic guidance.

With the introduction of Halo Dekan, students now have a more accessible and reliable channel to express concerns or aspirations. This initiative also demonstrates the school’s commitment to providing innovative and solution-oriented services tailored to student needs.
