Semarang, June 10, 2025 – The Vocational School of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) has once again strengthened its commitment to supporting the World Class University (WCU) program by collaborating with Dejavato Foundation through the Applied Foreign Languages Study Program on July 10, 2025. This partnership continues the collaboration that has been established since 2020 and has been further reinforced through various international-scale activities.
A wide range of programs has been carried out, focusing on volunteer exchange, community service, and academic development for both students and lecturers. These programs include internships and international student exchange, visiting lecturers from both domestic and overseas universities, as well as volunteer deployment for cross-cultural activities.
The program has been running consistently and has received great enthusiasm from the academic community. Several Vocational School students have participated in both short- and long-term programs. Currently, three students from the Applied Foreign Languages Study Program are taking part in a Summer Course at Chikushi Jogakuen University, Fukuoka, Japan, from July 1 to 13, 2025. “This program is a tangible form of our international cooperation implementation,” said Dr. Ketut Purwantoro, Founder of Dejavato Foundation.
In addition, lecturers from the Department of Information and Culture have also actively participated in the visiting lecturer program at Thaksin University, Thailand, in November 2024 as part of international academic exchange.
Through this collaboration, the Vocational School of UNDIP aims to continuously broaden the variety and improve the quality of international programs offered, providing students and lecturers with more opportunities for global self-development. The expectation is not only to increase the quantity of international experiences but also to enhance their quality, ensuring they remain meaningful and relevant to both academic and professional needs.
