Pilmapres, or Student Achievement Election, is a student competition organized by the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI), Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. This activity is intended to find outstanding students in Indonesia where selection is carried out at (1) Regional, (2) National Preliminary, and (3) National Final levels. Before sending students to participate in the national presidential election event, UNDIP first held a fairly strict selection process at the faculty level.
The Pilmapres held by the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI), Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology aims to strengthen the awareness of university administrators in facilitating student creativity, increase university awareness in giving awards to outstanding students, increase the number of students’ creative ideas for development originating from universities. By holding the Student Achievement Election, students can play an active role in various intellectual and leadership positions in the development of this country.
Friday, 23 February 2024, Undip Vocational School held a Student Achievement Election, which 13 students from various study programs attended. Students taking part in the presidential election are Rofik Wahyu (TRKI), Bayu Aji (PILAR), Addelia Abigael (TRKP), Jagat Sapta (TRO), Aulia Citra (PTRP), Natasya Apriliani (D3 PWK), Shakira Diva (Basing), Siti Zubaidah (AP), Iksiv Shilvana (MAL), Ahmad Imam (Inhum), Harisa Luthfiyana (D3 Tax Adm.), Jestine Faulinsa (D3 Tax Adm.), and Umatul Khasanah (D3 Public Relations). Student Achievement Election consists of a Portfolio of Superior Achievements, National Insight, English, and Innovative Product Manuscripts.
The lecturers who served as judges in the TIM I Presidential Election selection were as follows: Riandhita Eri Werdani, S.M.B., M.S.M.; Dr. Aulia Windyandari, S.T., M.T. (as judge of TEAM I’s portfolio of superior achievements), Drs. Eko Ariyanto, M.T.; Dr. Dra. Luluk Fauziah, M.Sc. (as a team I national insight judge), Sri Utami Handayani, S.T., M.T.; Aditya Nur Patria, S.Hum., M.App.Ling. (as TEAM I English judge), and Mohamad Endy Julianto, S.T., M.T. (as jury for TEAM I’s innovative product manuscript). Meanwhile, the lecturers who served as judges in the TIM II Presidential Election selection were Dr. Intan Muning Harjanti, S.T., M.T.; Maya Aresteria, S.E., M.Sc., Ak. (as a judge for TEAM II’s portfolio of superior achievements), Anafil Windriya, S.E., M.M.; Sriwahyu Istana Trahutami, S.S., M.Hum. (as team II national insight judge), Fitri Alfarisy, S.Pd., M.Hum.; Hermawan Dwi Ariyanto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. (as TEAM II English judge), and Rizka Amalia, S.T., M.T. (as judge of TIM II’s innovative product script).
Several files must be prepared before students register for the Student Achievement Election, such as supporting documents (certificates, written work, articles, etc.). Then, there are creative ideas in the form of scientific papers, summaries in English, English language proficiency certificates, and a table of superior achievements. The participants or Vocational School students with a burning enthusiasm for participating in the Pilmapres selection will be able to pass and produce innovative works that will positively impact the nation’s progress.
